How to Make Hot Swamp Crackers

Swamp crackers, hot crackers, fire crackers ... I've heard 'em called many names, but one common word is "delicious". Each time I make a batch of these, I swear to myself that I'll make them last a few days. I cannot keep this vow ... I gobble 'em up.

1го In a medium-size bowl, mix all ingredients except the crackers. Set aside, and fill the gallon jar with crackers. Place them in gently, so as not to break them. Put as many as you can get in there without crushing them.

2го Pour the mixture over the crackers and replace the lid on the jar. Let sit for thirty minutes. Then turn upside down. Repeat this step every thirty minutes for the next 5 to 6 hours. This is a good rainy day recipe, as it takes dedication to complete.

3го As you turn the jar each time, gently roll the jar to help evenly distribute the liquid. You goal is to coat all the crackers as much as possible. After the last roll, the crackers are ready to eat. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do, and also hope you have more self-control over them.
